The Zoomarine-Algarve theme park opened on August 3, 1991, and is located in Guia, Albufeira, in the heart of Portugal's main tourist region. Alongside environmental education, Zoomarine considers an effective, direct and/or indirect contribution to nature conservation to be inseparable from the activity of a zoological nature park.
Since its foundation, Zoomarine has been actively involved in the conservation of ocean life, its species, and its habitats.
