The Cabo Avelar Pessoa vessel was specifically built to transport passengers between Peniche and Berlenga. Due to its characteristics, it is the ideal vessel for comfort and safety in the Berlengas sea.
It has a capacity for 185 people, with 64 seats on the outside and the rest inside.
The crew consists of 1 captain, 1 driver, and 4 sailors.
It is inspected annually by the DGRM (Directorate-General for Maritime Resources), being the only vessel licensed for passenger transport to Berlenga.
