Oeiras Sailing by Oeiras Viva - Sailing School

Oeiras Sailing, the sailing school of Oeiras Viva E.M., continues to position Oeiras as a national and international reference in nautical sports. Located within the Oeiras Marina complex.

1,299 sailing lessons have been conducted, encompassing all classes, holiday camps, training sessions, school sports, and all Oeiras Sailing projects, totaling 3,900 hours at sea – all without any accidents, thanks to high safety standards and operational excellence.

165 regular students and 229 participants in the holiday camps have found sailing to be a captivating sport and Oeiras Marina a second home, contributing to the development of skills and unforgettable memories.

Participation in 20 regattas throughout the country, islands, and Spain. A highlight was the ILCA 4 World Championship, held in Viana do Castelo, where two Oeiras Sailing athletes represented Portugal and filled us with pride.

4 regattas: the Hansa Class National Championship, the II PAN of the 420 Class, the Tourism and Peace Regatta, the Oeiras Viva Anniversary Trophy, among many other events, such as the Masters Meeting. Each event contributed to the dynamism of the Marina and to the promotion of Oeiras as a center of excellence in sailing. All ages can sail in Oeiras, and no age group is forgotten. From 5 to 500 years old, everyone can practice sailing at Oeiras Sailing, finding a specific group for themselves!

3 training camps held: the Oeiras Sailing Easter Camp, the International 420 Class Camp (in partnership with the Portuguese 420 Class Association and the International 420 Class Association), and the Christmas Camp provided intensive learning and training sessions, allowing our athletes to consolidate skills and strengthen team spirit.
