We offer nautical experiences beyond the city, allowing you to explore the Aveiro region. Our Ria (lagoon) stretches for approximately 58 km, giving it a unique cultural richness. We value the heritage, traditions, and culture of Acre.
Discover our Ria aboard a museum! The “Praia da Costa Nova” is the vessel with the longest history and service history, navigating the Aveiro Lagoon since 1945. It was built to meet the need to transport inhabitants, Air Force Base staff, and workers from the once-large São Jacinto Shipyards, as well as goods, thus ensuring the connection between Aveiro, Ovar, Torreira, and São Jacinto. Now fully restored for tourist experiences and events, it is once again sailing the Aveiro Lagoon.
The “Praia da Costa Nova” has also been nominated for the Luigi Micheletti Prize by the European Academy of Museums for the most innovative museum in the world of industry, science, and technology.

Lancha Praia da Costa Nova holds official recognition within the Portuguese Nautical Stations Network. View the certificate and accreditation details.
