Haliotis

Sesimbra is very likely the most sought-after diving location in mainland Portugal. Due to its privileged southern orientation, it allows for diving practically year-round.

As such, Haliotis created the Sesimbra Diving Center project, where you can find the largest diving center in Sesimbra, with men's and women's changing rooms, a classroom, a shop, and an inflation station. You will also find the largest boat operating in Sesimbra, the well-known Homarus, measuring 12 meters.

This pleasant fishing village is located just 30km south of Lisbon. Its coastline is protected by the Arrábida Natural Park, and its wonderful waters are part of the largest Portuguese Marine Reserve (38km long, covering an area of ​​52km²).

The Professor Luís Saldanha Marine Park has become a highly sought-after national and international tourist destination in recent years, possessing a unique socio-cultural, gastronomic, and environmental richness.

Making this village the "Mecca" of diving in Portugal. The dives carried out in this location are characterized by magnificent views of the Arrábida mountain range with its large cliffs and crags, numerous bays and several capes. Here you can enjoy dives at different depths between 5 and 10 meters for beginners, and below 30 meters for more experienced and/or technical divers. The great diversity and complexity of the seabed allows the observation of numerous characteristic species at different depths, with more than 1100 species of marine macroorganisms currently known. Throughout almost the entire year it is also possible to carry out fascinating night dives with complete safety.
