Explora Douro

Explora Douro emerged in 2017 with the goal of inspiring and stimulating public and private entities in the Northeast of Trás-os-Montes to develop nature tourism. As tourism consultants working exclusively in this region, with collaborators who practice various nature-based activities and possess in-depth knowledge of the territory, especially its dynamics, potential, and needs, we have extensive experience in defining strategies and creating projects to implement and revitalize facilities for tourism purposes. In the specific case of the Nautical Station, we are guaranteed to make a significant contribution, both in defining its conceptual framework and in planning and outlining the implementation and future revitalization strategy. We are also capable of executing projects and installing tourism facilities, such as hiking trails, Cyclin'Portugal centers, tourist routes, and landscape architecture projects. We are also in the preparation phase to begin operating tourist and maritime tourism activities. Being integrated into the Sabor Lakes Nautical Station represents added value for Explora Douro, as it brings us recognition of increased value. We will take advantage of the best practices inherent in participating in this model. And, obviously, it also constitutes a vehicle for promoting and recognizing the company's quality.
