Bture

This activity was developed with several objectives. The main one is to provide visitors to the municipality and the river with a unique opportunity to navigate the waters of the Mira River, and along with them, to gain some general knowledge about the river, its people, the place, and its customs, especially those of the past. Another major focus is to publicize to everyone, especially to many residents, the incredible biodiversity and richness we have, particularly in the species that inhabit or visit the Mira, with a special focus on birdlife. This activity also aims to highlight the importance of environmental protection, for which we are all responsible. It raises awareness about reducing the consumption of materials such as plastic and promotes river clean-up actions, as part of the tourism program itself. Other objectives naturally include the development of the activity and its economic and social impact on the region.
