Blue Ocean Surf School is located within the World Surfing Reserve, on Ribeira D'Ilhas Beach in Ericeira.

A traditional fishing village and the Mecca of surfing in Portugal, internationally recognized as one of the best surf spots in Europe, and the second World Surfing Reserve.

Our school has already taught thousands of students and today we can assess and address poor techniques so that students can improve and move forward on their surfing journey. All our surf lessons include the use of quality surfboards and wetsuits. At Blue Ocean Surf School you will learn to surf and much more! We will share our knowledge and love for the ocean, teach you all about ocean safety and give you an epic surfing experience.

With its years of experience, BlueOcean has developed instructional surfing techniques. We have lessons available for all surfing levels to meet your needs, as well as qualified instructors who speak Portuguese, English and Spanish.

LEARN TO SURF

The school guarantees quality teaching with special attention to safety. Surf lessons are planned daily by our surf instructors, taking into account the participants' surfing level and weather conditions. Our lessons are a fun experience that offers a great way to build confidence with the ocean and meet new people. All sessions focus on ocean safety, beach awareness, and all the skills needed to learn to surf.
