CN Alvito is a non-profit sports, cultural, and nature conservation association. The club has athletes practicing triathlon, open water swimming, canoeing, and SUP, as well as veteran athletes who have practiced windsurfing and dinghy sailing. It has relationships with partners specializing in nautical activities, both in Portugal and Spain (Extremadura).

Fórum Oceano is the managing entity of the Portuguese Sea Cluster, certified and recognised by the Ministry of Economy and Sea, Ministry of National Defence, and Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure.
